Mary Van Orman was raised in the Houston area and attended Stephen F Austin University.  Mary began her career as an Associate Attorney for the Law Office of Dennis Kelly, Houston, TX from 1993 to 1995.  Mary also worked as the Court Appointed Attorney Ad Litem for children in the Family District Courts for Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery Counties.  In 1995, Mary formed Van Orman and Associates with a primary concentration in Family Law.  Over the course of several years, Mary gained significant trial experience in both federal and state courts. While Mary Van Orman's practice focus has been in Montgomery and Harris counties, she has litigated and arbitrated matters throughout Texas, across a wide range of Family Law matters; to include:  Matrimonial Law, Divorce, Adoptions, Custody, Paternity, Contempt and Civil Litigation.
